Mark teaching 3 ball juggling at a workshop

Welcome to circus-workshop.co.uk, the perfect place to find out about and book a circus skills workshop for any type of event.

Over the past fourteen years or so I have provided circus skills workshops and juggling workshops for many different clients holding very different types of events including: festivals (various types), fetes, carnivals, private parties, school fun days, corporate events, play schemes, scout/guide camps and more.

Circus skills workshops are both educational and fun and can bring together people of different ages with different backgrounds and varied skill levels. I can cater for absolute begginers to advanced jugglers who wish to enhance their skills.

Drop in style circus skills workshop. Click photo for more people photo's.A circus skills workshop can be organised in a way that is best suited to your event. For example, a school or corporate event may wish to have a structured circus skills workshop spending allocated time working on particular circus skills and swapping around spending say 30 minutes on each skill. A festival or fete would usually opt for something far less structured and and would rather we ran a drop in style circus skills workshop where people come and go as they please trying what they want, when they want. Drop in workshops are a good attraction for these kind of events and are always very popular. For drop in workshops I always mark an area out with stakes and rope or bunting, this keeps the circus skills workshop contained in one area for safety and to stop equipment being spread from here to eternity!

What ever your event, I can adapt what I do to fit you needs in a fully interactive and enthusiastic style.

Examples of circus workshops:

1: Two hours total, split into four half hour sessions of four different skills, for example ball juggling, diabolo, plate spinning and tight rope. This is very popular with schools and corporate customers as a team building exercise or just a bit of fun.
For information on team building click here.

2: The same as above but with an extra session on the end to include more skills and the chance for participants to have a go at what they wish.

3: A one to two hour session concentrating on just one skill.

4: Drop in style. Have a go at the lot, as and when you please, suitable for fetes and festivals.

5: Multiple day courses. These tend to be more structured and could end in a performance performed by you!

6: Bespoke circus workshops. You have an idea and I work with it.

For circus workshops in an organised/controlled environment (not drop in festival style)I always give a detailed and fun demonstration of all the skills being taught as well as on going tuition throughout the session.

Your event could be complemented by having a juggling show or even some stilt walkers. I can supply it all as either a solo or double act. If your event is a biggie we could supply more circus skills instructors or performers.

Circus Workshop prices.

It is impossible to have a price list as every circus skills workshop has different dynamics from length of workshop to distance travelled to facilitate the circus workshop. However, when working schools the price per head works out at approximately £2.50. This is based on a local school (within one hours drive) and 4 X one hour sessions each with 30 different participants in each.
Please note:
This price is an example of circus workshops previously provided, it is not a guaranteed price.
